The GRC is pleased to offer a variety of programs to our members throughout the year. And we are always happy when our Members have events that include everyone too.
Members and prospective members are encouraged to join us for events and activities. Through event attendance you promote awareness of your business to others and gain great networking opportunities. Event participation shows that you are an engaged Chamber Member and appreciate the events and opportunities presented to you.
Of course, it isn't possible to attend every event (some times you have to stay at your desk and work), but make it a priority to attend a few events per month. Attendance at events with like-minded individuals may give you a fresh perspective on an existing problem or may help re-energize or reaffirm your thoughts about your business.
When you attend events, be sure to introduce yourself to folks you don't know (it's easy to gravitate to the folks you already know, but be polite, say "hello", and let them know you'll chat later). Have your business cards on hand and set a goal to meet two new people per event.
